All Ready for Christmas Eve Services...

And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. Luke 2:12-13

Fr. Scott's sermon for Christmas Eve focused on the Gospel lesson from Luke 2. He discussed why this strange mix of people were all together in the middle of the night in a stable. In particular, why the shepherds were present. Please find his complete sermon at the 26:00 mark at the following link:

Fr. Scott's sermon for Christmas focused on the Gospel lesson from the first chapter of Matthew. He discussed how each of the Gospel writers emphasized a different aspect of Jesus's life. Matthew told the story from Joseph's perspective to a Jewish audience. Fr. Scott also emphasized the importance of the family unit and Jesus's choice to enter our world as a baby. Please find his complete sermon at the 22:00 mark at the following link:

Thank you, Fr. Scott, for an insightful sermon!
