Fr. Scott's sermon for Christmas Eve focused on the Gospel lesson from Luke 2. He discussed why this strange mix of people were all together in the middle of the night in a stable. Fr. Scott's sermon for Christmas focused on the Gospel lesson from the first chapter of Matthew. He discussed how each of the Gospel writers emphasized a different aspect of Jesus's life. Matthew told the story from Joseph's perspective to a Jewish audience. Fr. Scott also emphasized the importance of the family unit and Jesus's choice to enter our world as a baby.
