"Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn."

We held our Annual Congregational Meeting this past Sunday. We approved last year's meeting minutes, revised the by-laws regarding the Memorial Garden, and approved an operating budget for 2025. Thank you to all who pledged so generously - St Peters is in good financial shape going into 2025. We also received annual reports from Fr. Yossi, Diane (Jr. Warden) and Rosalind (Sr. Warden). What a wonderful year we have had! However, on the down side, we will greatly miss Fr. Yossi!
Also, we elected two new members to the Mission Committee for 3 year terms starting on Jan 1, 2025. Congratulations to Lin and Rose Marie! Thank you both for supporting St. Peter's in these important positions! We also discussed our hope and cautious optimism that Fr. Paul will be licensed by Bp. Jones as a supply priest. That licensing would allow him to perform all sacramental ministry at St. Peters.

I wrote the above summary of the meeting on Sunday evening. Monday afternoon we got the wonderful news that Bp. Jones has issued a license for Fr. Paul to serve as a supply priest for St. Peter's!

We are celebrating Holy Communion on the anniversary of his passing, Wednesday, November 20 at 11 am. After the service, we will move to the Memorial Garden. Last year Carol sent this description of John:
