Holy Week Services
Maundy Thursday
On Maundy Thursday, Fr. Paul led a beautiful service which included both Holy Communion and foot washing.
After the service the members of the congregation participated in stripping the altar.
Good Friday
Our Good Friday service, led by Fr. Paul, included the reading of The Litany.
Easter Sunday
Fr. Paul led our beautiful Easter Sunday Holy Communion service. Please find Fr. Paul's Easter Day sermon at the following link:

Thank you Hutch, Phil, and Levi for serving with Fr. Paul on these very special days. Thank you Hutch for leading our Morning Prayer service on Easter Sunday. Thank you to the altar guild, especially Rose Marie, Misty, and Hutch for all their work preparing the church and the altar for all the services! Thank you to the choir for all the beautiful music!
After Easter services, we celebrated with a Festive Congregational Easter Feast.
The church provided an Easter ham and drinks! Thank you to everyone for providing all the pot luck sides and desserts!

Next Week
Low Mass on Wednesday at
11 am with Fr. Paul.
Evening Prayer on Wednesday at 5 pm with Fr. Paul.
On Thursday we have Choir practice at 10 am and Bible Study at 11 am.
Both Christian Education and Children's Sunday School resume next Sunday April 12, The First Sunday after Easter. Fr. Paul is leading a series of lessons on Islam. The Children's Sunday School will join the adult class for these lessons.

The altar flowers and the flowers in the narthex were beautiful! Thank you to everyone who made Memorial Donations towards the flowers. Thank you to Rose Marie for ordering and arranging for the delivery of all the flowers.
Rose Marie also purchased and put up the beautiful new spring wreathes on the front doors!

A big thank you to Keith and Jessica for donating a water dispenser to the church. It will dispense hot, cold, and room temperature water from 5 gallon jugs in its base!

Levi created a resurrection garden at home and moved the stone to show the empty tomb on Easter morning.

Teresa joined Agnes at an Easter celebration at Governor's Bend this past week and shared this wonderful picture of Agnes. Looks like a grand time!

As our red bud didn't bloom much this year due to the very late frosts, Teresa sent me this lovely picture of our red bud from last year!
