In preparation for Lent, we celebrated Shrove Tuesday at Perkins. Lots of good food (including pancakes!), coffee, and conversation!

Deacon Steve led Ash Wednesday services. Thank you Fr. Steve for driving over from NC!

Father Scott led Holy Communion services on the first Sunday in Lent. We really enjoyed seeing him two weeks in a row! Thank you Fr. Scott for driving up from Knoxville!

Elsa, Mike, and Claudia visited Margaret this past week. She is tired but well. She misses attending church and is always happy to have visitors.

Carole and Rose Marie visited Gloria at her new residence. Gloria fell and broke her arm a few weeks ago. While her arm has healed, she is currently confined to a wheel chair. She is struggling with her situation.
Please keep both Margaret and Gloria in your prayers.

Sue and Teresa are starting an after church prayer group beginning this Sunday. The group will meet after services for the remainder of the Lenten season. The group is open to anyone interested. Each prayer meeting should last approximately 30 minutes.
