Food Team Updates

The Mission Committee voted to reserve Pot Luck Luncheons for special occasions rather for every month. Therefore starting in July, we will rotate between the five food teams without the usual Pot Luck luncheon on the second Sunday. The schedule for the rest of June remains the same and a new schedule starting in July will come out soon. Thank you for all your support and work to make the after services times so special!
Hope House Diaper & Baby Supply Drive

We are supporting Hope House in the months of June and July for a diaper drive. They are especially in need of larger sizes of diapers (sizes 4, 5, and 6) and pull-ups (2/3T, 3/4T, and 4/5T). Donations can be placed in the nursery downstairs. If you need help or have any questions, please see Jessica. Thank you Jessica for arranging this charity drive for St. Peter's!
Hope House is a Christian based maternity home and crisis pregnancy resource center in Kingsport. Please check out their website at the following link:

Liberty Play

On Friday, June 27, Rose Marie and Teresa are organizing an excursion to the outdoor drama, LIBERTY, which is presented every year at the Fort Watauga Amphitheater in Sycamore Shoals State Historic Park, Elizabethton, TN. The drama tells the story of the settlement of this area and the story of the Overmountain Men travelling to the Battle of Kings Mountain, a decisive victory for the Patriot cause.
Before the show, we will meet for an early dinner at the Black Olive Restaurant in Elizabethton. For information, including ticket prices, please go to the following link:
There is a sign up sheet downstairs.
