Fr. Paul continues his series of Christian Education classes about Anglicanism. Adult Christian Education classes start each Sunday morning at 9:15.

The children's Sunday School class also meets at 9:15.

Low Mass on Wednesday at

Holy Communion on Wednesday at 5 pm with Fr. Paul followed by the Wednesday Night Bible Study.


Due to early darkness as we go off of Daylight Savings Time and possible inclement weather, our last scheduled Wednesday evening activities will be this Wednesday, October 29. We will restart in Lent of 2026!

Toys for Tots

The Christmas Season is fast approaching!


JP has arranged for us to support and collect for the Marines' Toys for Tots program. We will be collecting between now and Sunday, Dec. 7 (Pearl Harbor Day).

Please remember all the toys must be new and unwrapped. JP set up collection boxes both upstairs and downstairs! Thank you JP for organizing this charity project for us!



Agnes - New Apartment Blessing

Several of us joined Agnes last Friday for the blessing of her new apartment.

We joined her in her apartment as Fr. Paul blessed all the rooms.






After the blessing, we moved to a commons room to both enjoy time with Agnes and some delicious snacks provided by Teresa!

It was wonderful to spend time with Agnes again - we have truly missed her at church! Thank you Fr. Paul for leading the blessing. Thank you Teresa for making all the arrangements and providing the snacks. What a delightful afternoon!


Fall Yard Work Day


We had our Fall Yard Work Day this past Saturday. The outside work included trimming bushes, pulling weeds, trimming tree branches, power washing the front sidewalk, etc. . . The inside work included mopping the wood floors in the sanctuary, cleaning the blinds, cleaning the window sills, polishing the brass, etc. . .

Bishop's Visit

Bishop Jones is visiting St. Peter's on Saturday, November 8 and Sunday, November 9! On Saturday the Bishop will meet with Fr. Paul and the Mission Committee. On Sunday he will be celebrating Holy Communion and visiting with the congregation. After Sunday services we will celebrate with a catered luncheon! Please join us for this very special Sunday!

Congregational Meeting

Our Annual Congregational Meeting is coming up on Sunday, November 23.


In addition to other business, we will have two open positions on the Mission Committee. The new members will be elected to 3 year terms which start on Jan 1, 2026. Please let Fr. Paul or one of the current Mission Committee members know if you are interested in running for one of these very important positions.

Paving the Parking Lot

We have signed a contract to have the upper parking lot and the drive around the lower part of the building paved!! We expect a paving date towards the end of November. We are not paving the lower area around the Memorial Garden at this time but please pray for next year!



Lunch at Chop House and By the Fireside: Symphony of the Mountains Holiday Concert - Saturday Dec. 6

Please mark your calendars! The Symphony of the Mountains is having their 'By The Fireside' Christmas Concert on Saturday, December 6 at 3 pm at the Toy F. Reid Eastman Employee Center in Kingsport. Tickets are $35 each.


Rose Marie has reserved tickets for the concert. She also made lunch reservations at The Chop House in Kingsport at noon. She reserved the private back room at The Chop House - if we have at least 25 people the room will be ours at no additional charge! A sign up sheet is downstairs!
