"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."
1 Corinthians 10:13

Let Light Perpetual Shine Upon Her

St. Peter the Apostle Anglican Church lost one of our cherished Anglican sisters, Margaret Little, this past week. Margaret was both a founding member and a very active member of The Anglican Church of the Good Shepherd in Abingdon, VA. After that church closed, she along with several other members joined St. Peters. During the COVID years, Margaret moved to assisted living and finally to a skilled care unit. Sadly, during that time we lost touch with Margaret.

One of her daughters contacted Fr. Paul to let him know she passed this last week. A Memorial Service is scheduled for this Saturday, August 8 at 10:00 am at the Forest Hills Memory Gardens in Abingdon, VA.
Some of my favorite pictures of Margaret!

Please keep her family in your prayers as they grieve the loss of their beloved mother. Also pray for the departed soul of Margaret.
REQUIEM aeternam dona ei, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat ei. Requiescat in pace.
Amen.
ETERNAL rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace.
Amen.
Unto God's gracious mercy and protection we commit you. The LORD bless you and keep you. The LORD make his face to shine upon you , and be gracious unto you. The LORD lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace, both now and evermore.
Amen
