Fr. Paul led both our beautiful Holy Communion service and our Morning Prayer service this past Sunday.
Thank you Anderson for serving with him during Holy Communion!
Please find Fr. Paul's sermon at the following link:
"You've Been Uninvited."
Rose Marie, Melinda, Elaine, and Rosalind served up a delicious meal of meatballs, rice, green beans, potato salad, chopped salad, homemade bread, rice crispy treats, and chocolate chip/pudding/whipped topping dessert!

We also celebrated Agnes's and Linn's Birthdays!
Thank you to everyone for a wonderful Sunday at St. Peter's!

Happenings
Liberty Play

Thank you Rose Marie and Teresa for organizing our trip to Elizabethton for dinner and to see the outdoor drama "Liberty".

Dinner at the Black Olive was delicious and . . .

the play was very well done and presented a lot of historical information.

It was a beautiful evening which started very hot and humid but, ended with a heavy thunderstorm which cancelled the second act of the play! Never a dull weather moment in the Upper East Tennessee!
Fireworks at Teresa's
Sadly, Teresa and Agnes are unable to host the fireworks watch party at her house this year. Agnes's brother is in the hospital and they will be spending time with him. Please keep all them in your prayers.
Hope House Diaper & Baby Supply Drive

We are collecting items for Hope House through the end of July. Hope House offers free housing, education, and support to pregnant women in the Kingsport area. More information about their mission is available at their website:
They are in need of diapers, baby wipes, baby food, formula, etc. Please see the full list below. Please put all items in the basket in the Narthex or the box in the basement. Thank you Jessica for arranging this charity drive for St. Peter's!
