"My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth."

1 John 3:18

Fr. Paul led our beautiful Holy Communion service on the Second Sunday after Trinity. Please find Fr. Paul's sermon at the following link:

"This Must Happen First!"

Thank you Phil and Hutch for serving with Fr. Paul.

Thank you Hutch for leading our Morning Prayer service this past Sunday.

Hutch has posted a sign up sheet for Morning Prayer readers in the Parish Hall. Please consider signing up for this important part of our services!

After services, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch of pasta with beef casserole, Hawaiian chicken with rice, tossed salad, couscous salad, and bread & butter.

For dessert we enjoyed cherry dump cake and strawberry fluff pie! Everything was delicious. Thank you Team 2, Rose Marie, Carol, Benita, Fr. Paul, and Laurel for the delicious lunch!

Several people asked Rose Marie for her Hawaiian chicken recipe - she asked me to share it here:

Rose Marie recommends cooking on low 3.5 hours and adding peppers during the last hour. Enjoy!

Invitation

All the women in the church are invited to join the Anglican Sisters in Christ monthly zoom gatherings.

This group was founded in 2022 by members of the Anglican Church in America, a G2 member church along with our national church - the Anglican Province of America.

Save the Date

Teresa is hosting an American 250th Birthday Celebration on Wednesday, July 1. She has invited us all over to watch fireworks from her yard, enjoy hot dogs with all the fixings, and a reading of the Declaration of Independence. The church across the street from her house puts on an amazing fireworks show every year. More details and information coming in the near future!

Anglican Province of America

Synod 2026

Fr. Paul, Teresa, Diane, and Rosalind are attending the Anglican Province of America Synod the week of July 20 - 24 in Annapolis, Maryland. The Synod is always interesting both because of the experience of seeing how the national church operates and the joy of meeting so many other Anglicans from across the country.

Please see the following link for information on the Synod:
