The Second Sunday in Lent

Fr. Paul led our beautiful Holy Communion service on The Second Sunday in Lent.

Please find Fr. Paul's sermon at the following link:

"This is God's Will for Your Life."

Thank you Hutch for serving with Fr. Paul and for leading our Morning Prayer service this past Sunday.

Christian Education:

Fr. Paul completed his series of Christian Education classes about Anglicanism this past Sunday. Christian Education will not meet again until Sunday April 12.

During the current study on the 1928 BCP, the children's class has joined the adult class. The Children's Sunday School will follow the same schedule as the Adult class - see above.

After Services Lunch:

Team 3 served a wonderful, Mediterranean themed lunch after services! Their dishes included pasta casserole, pork tenderloin with potatoes, Lebanese Cabbage Salad, fresh veggies with hummus, and bread.

For dessert they served peach cobbler with ice cream, brownies, and strawberry cake. Everything was delicious! Thank you Michele, Lin, Lynn, Hutch and Misty for the wonderful lunch!

And continuing with the color coordinated picture theme:

Michele, JP, and Teresa chose dark green!

Misty, Rosalind, Diane, Rose Marie, Carol, and Lin went for shades of blue!

Thank you all for a wonderful day at St. Peter's!

On Wednesday, March 11 we are visiting Mike and Claudia at their house from 12:30 to 3:00. We are bringing ready to serve potluck food for lunch. They will provide plates, silverware, glasses and drinks. We have missed seeing them regularly at church and are very much looking forward to this visit! Please let Jessica or Rosalind know if you plan to attend and what you are bringing.

Our 'Burgers and Bingo Night Out" is back on Saturday, March 21 at 5 pm. We will be serving burgers with all the fixings for dinner followed by several rousing rounds of Bingo! This year Rose Marie has added a new twist to the game. She is asking each family to bring a wrapped present - the present is an nice item from your house that you no longer use (or never used) in good condition and you would like to re-home it! The winner of each game can either pick from the pile of unopened gifts or 'steal' one from a previous winner! Rose Marie will also have one grand prize supplied by the church for last game. If you plan to attend please sign up downstairs or contact Rose Marie.

We now have a new, fully functioning, non-leaking toilet in the upstairs bathroom! Thank you Teresa, our Junior Warden, for making this happen last week!
