Also, Fr. Paul is asking for the men in the church to prayerfully consider becoming a Lay Reader.
Another wonderful lunch provided by Team 1! They served chili hot dogs with all the fixings, coleslaw, three bean salad, and chips. For dessert served Pumpkin Honeybun Cake and ice cream sandwiches. Thank you Diane, JP, Ambler, Keith, and Jessica for the delicious meal!
Both Christian Education and Children's Sunday School continued this past Sunday. In the adult class, Fr. Paul is discussing the Articles of Religion found in the back of the Book of Common Prayer starting on page 603.

Fr. Paul will be out of the office from Monday, September 21 through Friday, September 25. All weekly activities are cancelled during that time.

Fall Yard Work Day
Time to catch up on our church and yard maintenance after this crazy summer. The Mission Committee has scheduled a Fall Yard Work Day for Saturday Oct. 10 @ 10 am. The outside work includes trimming bushes, pulling weeds, mulching, etc. . . Please bring your tools! We will also be getting the inside of the church ready for the upcoming Christmas Season!
Please join us as we keep the church looking nice! We will provide pizza and drinks for lunch after all the work!

Isaiah 117 House
The Giving Corner
Jessica has set up 'The Giving Corner' in the vesting room down stairs. Because our support of Isaiah 117 House is ongoing and their needs are ever changing, she organized this corner just for the support of Isaiah 117 House. This organization serves all ages and sizes of children at their house each staying until the child/children are matched to a foster home. We will use this space to collect items including new clothes for children of all ages. Some of the items Isaiah 117 House is in constant need of are:
Monetary gifts
Gift Cards
Underwear (all sizes)
Socks (all sizes)
No used items
