Thank you Hutch for leading our Morning Prayer services this past Sunday!


A reminder for Sunday, August 10 , Fr. Paul will be out of town. On that Sunday, we will celebrate Morning Prayer at 11 am followed by lunch!


We enjoyed a delicious lunch featuring Cesar salad, Hawaiian chicken with rice, American Goulash, bread & butter, chocolate cake, and assorted cookies - all provided by Lin, Lynn, Laurel, and Michele!

Fr. Paul continued his series of Christian Education classes about Anglicanism. Adult Christian Education classes start each Sunday morning at 9:15. Please find the recording of this past Sunday's lesson at the link below:

Hope House Diaper & Baby Supply Drive

This past Sunday was our last Sunday for collecting items for Hope House.


Thank you to everyone who donated items to help the women & babies helped by Hope House. Thank you Jessica for coordinating this charity drive for St. Peter's!

Claudia's mother had a large jewelry collection. Before Claudia donated it, she invited us to select and take home pieces from her collection. Thank you Claudia for the wonderful hospitality and the beautiful jewelry!



APA Diocese of the Eastern United States (DEUS) Synod

Fr. Paul, Teresa, Diane, and Rosalind will be attending the Synod of the Diocese of the Eastern United States (DEUS) the week of July 28 - August 1 in Greenville, SC. Please note all activities are cancelled those days .



The Annual Deanery Picnic

St. Peter's is a member of the Appalachian Deanery which includes APA churches in East Tennessee, western North Carolina and parts of South Carolina. The annual picnic is an opportunity to meet the many wonderful people who are part of our larger church family. The picnic will be held on Saturday, August 23 from 11:30-2:30 at Saint Patrick’s (1825 Rosman Highway, Brevard, NC 28712). We are asked to bring side dishes or desserts.  Meat and buns will be provided. If you are interested in attending please let Fr. Paul know by next Sunday, August 3!
