And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

Fr. Paul led beautiful Holy Communion services on both the Second Sunday after Easter and the Third Sunday after Easter.
Thank you Hutch and Anderson for serving with him on those Sundays!
Please find Fr. Paul's sermons at the following links:
The Second Sunday after Easter
"The Good Shepherd"
The Third Sunday after Easter
"In a Little While."

Thank you Fr. Mike for leading our Morning Prayer services on both Sundays.
On the Third Sunday after Easter we also celebrated Mother's Day by distributing beautiful white carnations to all women at the Holy Communion service!

After services this past Sunday, we enjoyed a delicious potluck lunch!

Thank you to everyone for bringing all the delicious food!

During the week of April 28 - May 2, Jim and Diane rebuilt the Sacristy in the back of the Sanctuary. The Sacristy is used by the Altar Guild to store and clean all their items and tools. They did a beautiful job!! Everything has a place in this now very functional space! Thank you Jim and Diane for all your hard work!

Fr. Paul donated to St. Peter's the beautiful new gold altar linens which we have been using the last couple of Sundays. Thank you Fr. Paul for this very generous donation.

I received this email from Jessica about our next charity/support drive that she is organizing for St. Peter's!

We had such a wonderful time sponsoring a family to get back on their feet after the flooding from Hurricane Helene earlier this year, and then contributing to overseas missions with the Lenten Appeal. We are reconnecting with Hope House in the months of June and July for a diaper drive. They are especially in need of larger sizes of diapers (sizes 4, 5, and 6) and pull-ups (2/3T, 3/4T, and 4/5T). Donations can be placed in the nursery downstairs. If you need help or have any questions, please see me.
Thank you,
Jessica
Hope House is a Christian based maternity home and crisis pregnancy resource center in Kingsport. Please check out their website at the following link:
More information on their needs is listed below. Thank you Jessica for coordinating this meaningful project for St. Peter's!
