Fr. Paul led our beautiful Holy Communion service this past Trinity Sunday. Thank you Anderson for serving with him during Holy Communion services!
Sadly, the camera wasn't turned on so we do not have a recording of the sermon.

Thank you, Hutch for leading our lovely Morning Prayer service this past Sunday!
After services, we enjoyed a delicious lunch provided by Agnes, Carol T., Diane, and Teresa. Their feast included chicken salad sandwiches, ham & swiss sliders, corn salad, tortilla chips, cherry cobbler & ice cream, and chocolate pudding dessert! We also enjoyed an unexpected 7 layer salad brought by JP's wife, Lavelle! It was wonderful to have her with us this past Sunday!

Several of us attended The Patterns of Evidence premier of their new movie:

Before seeing the movie, we met at Olive Garden for an early dinner.
We attended the movie at the AMC Johnson City 14 Theater. The movie was a wonderful introduction to the many examples of Divine Providence in the founding of the United States of America!

And the seats were very comfortable!

Continuing Improvements!

As we continue to improve the Sanctuary, Teresa purchased new candles and candle stick holders for the altar. She used money given as a Memorial to the church in the name of her husband, Lanny. This past Sunday was the first Sunday using all the beautiful new candles.

Diane's husband, Jim, has finished repairing and preserving our beautiful Memorial Garden cross. After repairing some water damage, Jim clad the exposed edges in copper sheeting. The final result is beautiful and will preserve the cross for years to come. Rose Marie's husband, Earl, made the cross for St. Peter's several years ago. St. Peter's continues to be blessed by many talented and generous people! Thank you Jim for all your hard work!

We are supporting Hope House in the months of June and July for a diaper drive. They are especially in need of larger sizes of diapers (sizes 4, 5, and 6) and pull-ups (2/3T, 3/4T, and 4/5T). Donations can be placed in the nursery downstairs. If you need help or have any questions, please see Jessica. Thank you Jessica for arranging this charity drive for St. Peter's!
Hope House is a Christian based maternity home and crisis pregnancy resource center in Kingsport. Please check out their website at the following link:
