Almighty God, who seest that we have no power of ourselves to help ourselves; Keep us both outwardly in our bodies, and inwardly in our souls; that we may be defended from all adversities which may happen to the body, and from all evil thoughts which may assault and hurt the soul; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

Because of bad weather and illness, Fr. Scott cancelled both Christian Education and Holy Communion services this past Sunday.
This was the view from my front yard!

Praying everyone stayed warm and safe.

Fr. Scott will continue his series of Lenten Confirmation Classes for those desiring confirmation during the usual Christian Education time. Through out Lent he will use this time for teaching and reviewing the information needed for confirmation. In order to have enough time to cover all the information, Christian Education will start at 9:30 am. Please let Fr. Scott know if you are interested in confirmation!

We are opening the church every Friday evening in Lent for a Stations of the Cross service followed by a light dinner. This past Friday Earl and Rose Marie led the service which included the reading of each station followed by time for reflection.

Rose Marie and Earl prepared a light dinner of homemade corn chowder with cranberries, salad, cheese, garlic bread and homemade chocolate chip cookies.

Thank you Earl and Rose Marie for the service and the food! The next Stations of the Cross service will be on Friday, March 18 at 5 pm. Daryl and Lynn are leading the service and providing the dinner!
