Fr. Paul has arranged to run both radio and print ads for St. Peters this Easter Season. The ad will run in the Johnson City Press and the Kingsport Times News on both April 5 and April 10. We will run radio ads on several stations including WHCB, WPWT, WHGG, & WCQR. The ads on WCQR will run on April 7 and April 13. Also WCQR will put the above image on their webpage. I will post more information as I receive it!
The radio ad can be found at the link below:
Benita has also set up Yelp and Google Reviews for St. Peters's in an effort to get our name more known in the Tri-Cities area! Please go and leave a review - the more reviews, the more exposure for us!

Sue & Scott Update!

Sue and Scott, long term members of St. Peters, are currently living in Wisconsin while Scott completes his seminary training in preparation to being ordained an APA priest. I received the following email update from them this past week:
Dear St. Peter’s Family,
We are excited to tell you that this weekend we were offered and accepted a position at Holy Apostles Anglican Church in Pewaukee, WI. We have attended this church since moving in July. It is a lovely church very reminiscent of St. Peter the Apostle right down to the inability to NOT have lunch after the service (that is, there is ALWAYS lunch after the service). The church is pretty much the same size as St. Peter. When you visit you will feel right at home!

The church is an ACA church, part of the G3. I will remain in the APA, and Bishop Jones will “loan” me to the ACA (at least until such time as we can become the G2 or better yet, the G1).
The timeline is May 20-22 graduation and ordination as deacon. August 1 begin at Holy Apostles. November or December ordination as priest.
Fr. John Armstrong (who was at our last G3 synod) will be staying through the year so he can break me in.
Thanks for all the support you all have been for us over the last six years. We will try to visit as able and hope some of you can join us sometime (I am guessing in the summer instead of the winter 😊).
We’ll try to get to the synod in July!
Blessings…
Scott & Sue
May God Bless Sue & Scott in all their future work, activities, and plans. Holy Apostles Church is blessed to have them and we surely miss them!

Jim has scheduled the first meeting of The Anglican Anglers for this year. They will meet at St. Peter's at 10 am on Saturday, April 12 and will head over to the weir dam area of the Holston River. Starting with this outing, Jim is welcoming both spin and fly fishermen. Please see Jim with any questions.

-only sugar, peanut butter, molasses, or chocolate chip cookies
-no fruit, no nuts, no candy except chocolate chips
-no sugar or frosting on top
Jody will pick up the prepared cookies before Bible Study on Thursday, April 17 at the church. Please find information on Kairos at the following link:
