This past Sunday was the last time Fr. Scott would be joining us for Holy Communion. He and Rebecca are moving to Oklahoma in September. We will miss them both very much.
As a farewell gift, we gave Fr. Scott an icon of St. Peter with a farewell message from St. Peter's on the reverse side.
Our beautiful singers: Carol, Sue, and Diane serenaded Scott & Rebecca with a rendition of "Happy Trails to You".
Then we had a lovely catered lunch from Panera Bread!

Earlier this past week, Teresa was sworn in as Elizabethton Municipal Judge.
Before the swearing in ceremony, we met at the City Market Restaurant for lunch.
The food was amazing......
The atmosphere was great....
The company was fun...
But being together again to celebrate Teresa's hard won achievement was wonderful!!
We were the first to arrive at the city hall for the swearing in ceremony.....
But we were soon joined by many other friends of Teresa.
Diane read the opening prayer from the BCP.
