We celebrated Holy Communion on the longest day of the year and the first day of summer! What a wonderful way to start the summer season!
Father Dennis drove over from North Carolina for the service. His lovely sermon centered around the Gospel lesson of 'The Parable of the Great Banquet'. He reminded us that both our time to accept our invitation to "The Banquet" is limited and we should be inviting others to come. Thank you Father Dennis for coming to St. Peters!
We were very happy to see Elsa again and have her join us for services!
We had refreshments downstairs after services. Lots of Thank You's to Teresa for the Palmetto Cheese & crackers, Rosalind for the deviled eggs & veggies, and Sue for the ice cream sundaes!
