I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

After services we celebrated Taylor's last Sunday at St. Peter's before his move to Indonesia and upcoming wedding with a delicious potluck lunch.

Taylor even brought his famous sweet bacon! Thank you to everyone for bringing all the delicious food!

After lunch we presented Taylor with several gifts

including a custom made rosary created by Josiah,

an icon of St. Peter sized to fit in his suitcase,

and some extra cash to help with all the upcoming expenses!

Taylor - we will miss you very much! Please keep us posted and send pictures!

The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious unto you. The Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace, this day and evermore.

   Christian Education:

Fr. Paul continued his series of Christian Education classes about Anglicanism. Adult Christian Education classes start each Sunday morning at 9:15. Please find the recording of this past Sunday's lesson at the link below:

Happenings 

Hudson, Agnes's Great Grandson

Please keep Hudson, Agnes's great grandson, and his family in your prayers. Hudson has been in the hospital this past weekend with seizures and very high fevers.

Ordo Kalendas

We have the 2026 Ordo Kalendars in the basement at the church. We have both full size as pictured and pocket size available for a donation of $10 each. Please place your donation in the envelope beside the calendars.

Helping Hands

In our most recent Mission Committee meeting, we voted to form a "Helping Hands" group at St. Peters. This group will help other St. Peter's members on an as needed basis. The help we hope to offer includes:

-group visits to members who are unable get to church

-assisting members recovering from surgery or accidents

-accompanying Fr. Paul when he brings Holy Communion to people in their home.

Please let me or Diane know if you are interested in supporting any of the activities of this group. We are looking for ideas and suggestions!  We will have our first organizational meeting after services Sunday, September 7.
